I saw an advertisement from Jetstar for incredibly cheap airline tickets. I jumped online to have a look idly thinking I might book a long weekend for the family in Adelaide. Then I noticed the sale included some international fares and half an hour later I had bought return tickets from Sydney to Osaka for $500 AUD each return!
I chose the end of October and early November as it was convenient for my parents-in-law who kindly agreed to look after our children, as well as being Autumn in Japan with the promise of some awesome sights.
